Western Environmental was engaged to undertake detailed site investigations and risk assessments in relation to large-scale contamination associated with a former timber mill in south-west WA.
Complex site conditions and contamination pathways required the development of a detailed and robust conceptual site model, augmented with investigation data derived from soil, sediment, surface water, groundwater and biota, to derive a quantitative risk assessment for the management of impacts.
